BITC East of England Awards 2010

Hengrave Hall was delighted to host the prestigious Business in the Community East of England Awards 2010 on 8 June 2010. Three hundred and eighty guests attended including representatives from KPMG LLP, Whitbread Plc and Anglian Water. Business in the Community is an organisation whose mission is to create a network of responsible businesses committed to building a sustainable future for people and planet.
After a deluge of torrential rain in the lead up to the event the sunshine finally won through just in time for the Adnams champagne and beer reception on the front lawn. Prior to the awards ceremony itself, a sumptuous locally sourced dinner prepared by the talented chefs of Talbooth Catering was served in a fantastic marquee on the West Garden lawn.
It was fabulous to see so many people enjoying the Hall and gardens, many of whom had never been to Hengrave before. Hengrave Hall can accommodate functions of up to 450 people so please do not hesitate to contact us if you are considering an event of this size.
