Receptions - Day

From formal gardens, planted with more than a thousand David Austin Rose, to the wonderful courtyard centred in the midst of the Tudor mansion, the magnificent front fascia of the house and the abundance of reception rooms Hengrave Hall has so many options to choose from for your special day, whatever the weather.  Available exclusively to you and your guests; you can choose exactly how to enjoy the grandeur of the house and the perfectly manicured gardens...the opportunities are almost endless!

After the ceremony you and your guests may like to enjoy champagne and canapés on the terrace over looking the stunning west garden.  Why not have a string quartet, jazz band or even an ice cream van arrive at the front of the house as your guests make their way onto the terrace after the ceremony.  An abundance of garden games and croquet will be available on the lawn to entertain your guests whilst photographs are taken - there are so many beautiful backdrops for your photographer to choose from,  they will be spoilt for choice. 

Even the rain cannot play havoc with your special day as the cosy dining room or the grand banqueting hall offer perfect alternatives for your reception drinks.

And if the photographer starts to get carried away the event manager from Talbooth Catering will gently move things along to ensure the timings run as planned.  We worry about these things so that you do not have to.

Then sit down with your guests to enjoy a sumptuous meal and fine wine, lovingly prepared by the experienced chefs of Talbooth Catering before the evening fun begins….
